Treatment performed: Breast Reconstruction
Description
60 year old female underwent revision reconstruction of the left breast following left mastectomy and post mastectomy radiation. She had a tissue expander, followed by implant placed 15 years prior, now presenting with thin skin and near implant exposure. A latissimus flap was salvaged with left implant exchange to bring in new, healthy, nonradiated tissue. This was paired with right side implant exchange for symmetry.
